Kristine Luke offers mindfulness therapy and alternative approaches like equine therapy

Hi, I’m Kristine.

My journey to becoming a therapist began when I sought counseling myself. In my family, that was unusual and surprising. Most problems were swept under the rug and hoped to be forgotten. Yet, it was through those pivotal conversations that I experienced the transformative and liberating power of self-awareness and personal growth. These were gifts I took back to those I love. Those moments inspired me to use my talents of creativity, cooperation, and empathy to help others uncover their own paths toward healing, resilience, and fulfillment.

Fully licensed clinical therapist, MA, MPH, LPC. I hold a Master of Arts in Psychology: Clinical Counseling from The Citadel Graduate College and a Master of Arts in Public Health from the University of South Carolina.

“Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you

Are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here,

And you must treat it as a powerful stranger,

Must ask permission to know it and be known.

The forest breathes. Listen. It answers,

I have made this place around you.

If you leave it, you may come back again, saying Here.”
